AFS Converter

A file converter utility is included with STAAD Foundation Advanced v7. This file is used to convert legacy STAAD.foundation or STAAD Foundation Advanced files (file extension .afs) to the current file format. It is opened automatically if a legacy file is opened in the product, or it can be run separately by selecting the Converter tool found on the Home tab. An individual file or folder with multiple files can be converted.
